Tomorrow and Saturday, Power Tee is helping out two charities close to our hearts, and close to the heart of golf - and they both have the same name: Hope for the Holidays!
The Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation's Hope for the Holidays event provides over 4,000 food insecure families in Duval and St. John's counties with a full holiday dinner - complete with a ham and hot cocoa! Just $10 will give a family a bag full of food and ensure that no one in Northeast Florida goes hungry over the holidays. The best part - it's not too late to donate! You can purchase an entire bag for a family for $10, or purchase specific items for the bag. Click here to donate! This weekend, the Tesori Family Foundation is hosting their own Hope for the Holidays - a shopping spree! Paul Tesori is the caddie for Webb Simpson, and his family foundation hopes to give holiday gifts to 25 homeless St. John's county families. The event starts with a shopping spree, where each family has provided a "wish list". After shopping, all the gifts are wrapped and delivered to the shelter for Christmas morning. The Power Tee team will be out shopping and wrapping to help the Tesori Family Foundation achieve its goals and help out our community. And guess what - you can help here too!
